OXFORD SUMMER

In this session I will miss one thing which is the Spanish words. It is become one thing in my life even I can't understand most of it. I hope all luck to Spanish speaker.

Also, I misses the spirits of Oxford city. Oxford almost empty rather than FALL and SPRING.

I really enjoyed studying English in summer 2. It was a good experience. I knew many people from different countries. I knew many Spanish words too. I missed Asian people in this semester. Oxford summer experience

I think that my summer experience was positive.In my culture,we say that nothing is more important than health.Since I have been healthy,it is the accomplishment of my deep wish.In addition,I have had no trouble in my classes and in my social life.It is a good experience for me to have met some international students with whom I have discussed every subject about me.It was fun and helpful.Writing Blogs for my classes is a new task and it was the first time I did it.I have enjoyed doing it and by the way, reading others has given me a synopsis of what life is like in other horizons.

Another thing I have enjoyed doing is watching soccer world cup.I will realy miss my classmates,my teachers and the events that are ending through summer

NEW MOON BY STEPHANIE MEYER

Even though I don't like to read at all, I really loved the new moon novel, new moon is the second book of four books, it is the twilight saga, probably a lot of people know what I am talking about :) anyway, I read this book because one of my friends was telling me like hey Elea you really should read the whole saga, and I was like OH MY GOD, YOU ARE KIDDING RIGHT, BUT SHE WAS LIKE, ELEA YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW GOOD THEY ARE, YOU SHOULD READ IT, ITS GONNA BE WORTH IT :), SO ANYWAY ONE DAY I WAS BORED, WITH NOTHING TO DO SO I GRAB THE BOOK AND START TO READ, AND I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW GOOD IT WAS THAT I COULDN'T STOP READING IT, THE LOVE BETWEEN THE CHARACTERS AND THE PASSION IS TOO INTENSE, OH MY GOD, EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT WATCHNG IT, YOU ARE JUST PITURING IN YOUR MIND THE THINGS IT IS SO AWESOME, YOU CAN ALMOST FEEL THAT YOU ARE INSANE OF THE STORY.

Although you'll be probably thinking that the twilight saga is only for girls and not for boy, I recommend this book and the whole saga to everybody, and remember "IT IS NOT THE SAME, WATCH THE MOVIE THAN READ THE BOOK" BECAUSE IN THE MOVIE THEY SKIP A LOT OF THINGS, BUT READING THE BOOK YOU WILL KNOW EVERY DETAIL....AND THEN AFTER READING THE BOOK OF COURSE GO TO THE MOVIE THEATER. :)

This movie takes place in Mexico City. Denzel Washington is the bodyguard for a little girl - Dakota Fanning- , this little girl is kidnapped by gang members and ask the money from rich parents. Denzel promise her mom the get her back. he announce the war against the gang members, he starts to kill them until he eliminate most of them and no body can stop him. While he killing the members he thought the little girl is killed. In the end of the movie he found the little girl a live.

Cinderella

Cinderella is definitely one of my favorites movies. I really love it because the story is very original and it has been the inspiration for many other movies…

I really liked the way Cinderella acts and how she thinks.

Even the adults like this classic movie (just as my mom… she loves Cinderella!).

The Back-up Plan

This is the last movie that I watched before coming here. Even though I don't usually watch romantic comedy, I really enjoyed this movie.
I went to the cinema with some friends to watch this movie. And we were all laughing during the movie.
The movie is about a young lady that can't find a boyfriend, so she decide to undergo an artificial insemination. Then she meet a boy in a taxi, and they get in love. But she didn't told him that she was pregnant, so he gets mad. And they broke for sometime and they are reconciled and the guy forgives her, and then they have the baby, but they were twins.
The history is kind of simple, but during the history happen a lot of funny facts that make it a good movie. To laugh for a while.

One of my favorite movies is Gladiator. It takes place on 2000.The main actor is Russell Crowe. He was a big leader in Roman army. He was very closed the king. His orders are heard by the soldier. After the king died, his sun became a king. He hated the leader. After rejecting his orders, the king decided to kill the leader. But he didn’t find him, so he killed his wife and son. He decided to revenge his wife and son murder. He get coma and slaved by a person who sale people to wrestling competition. He became a famous gladiator. After he won a competition. In front of the king, he took his mask out. Then the king decided to fight against him and kill him too. He injects the back of the gladiator by muscle relaxant to make him unable to fight. But the gladiator was strong enough to kill him and he did. It was a good movie and won many prizes too

One book I have enjoyed reading is SULA by Tony Morrison,an American writer.
In this novel, it is the reality of the social life that is depicted.First, Sula and Nel are the main characters and good friends too.But Sula is going to have love affair with Nel's husband ;Jude.It leaves us with some questions about whether friendship really exists.
Second,it shows the prejudices that animated some peolpe in the United States.People in the novel thinks that Sula is the cause of some evils such as violent winds and crimes.Black community thinks that Sula brings misfortune to them because she is having love affair with white people.For this community, it was a sin that that a black girl have a love affair with the White.
In the end,the novel reveals how after many years of inequal opportuinity of work,war leads to satisfaction for all.In addition, it shows how Sula by her stubborness has succeeded in uniting the two communities that let down their stereotypes.
The novel is extremely interesting.If you like reading, explore it!

I have already told you about my favorite movie. Now I am going to tell you about my second fravorite movie which is a tearjerker movie, "Dear John". Dear John was written by the same author of The Notebook I think thats why I loved it. Dear John is a Romantic Drama movie. In two weeks you can really felt in love with a person, Savannah who was a girl that was studiyng and wanted to reach some goals in her college, she was visiting the town the time when she met John; John was a soldier whose goal was to serve his country, they met on the beach, John was visiting his home countrie for two weeks. After they met and spend some time togheter, their relationship is put on hold. With one leaving to complete his service, and the other to complete her college education, they pass the time by exchanging a continuous stream of love letters, until they can be reunited permanently a year later. The time pass and they were together for almost 3 years and they met one time a year. One day John got a letter for Savannah that changes his life, Savannah was goint to marry another men and she broke up with John, he couldn't do nothing so far from her. John went back to the town where they met 5 years before he got the letter, and he saw Savannah with his husband who was ill, and he was going to die. Savanaah and John were still in love event ought they haven seen each other for such a long time.
The end of the movie is really sad, Savanaah husband has cancer, and John saved him because he had a really bad accident by serving and he decided to donate the organ that Savannah husbands need so then she wouldn't be alone for the rest of the life. Whe John died and Savanaah husband was out of risk, Savannah noticed that John has saved her husband life just because he loves her. THE BEST MOVIE.

1 MILLION DOLLARS

I would do an inversion buying a ranch of hundreds of acres with lots of animals like horses, cows and peacocks, thinking in that as a base for my own company. After that I would think about make donations for different causes for help people. Also I would keep some money because when I get married I can use it. And I also would buy a piece of land to do my own house in some years.

What would you do if you won $1 million ?

If I won a million dollars I would keep half of the money to invest it in my father's business. So in the future I would have more to buy new stuff and continue investing it and donate some money.
And with the other half of the money I would buy stuff that I always wanted to have, like my own car, like an Aston Martin DB9 and a Mercedes G class, because I like a lot sport cars, also a motorcycle. I would also invite my friends to travel, around the world and have fun with them. I would expend that money with my friends.
Also I would like to buy soccer jerseys because I collect them and I would have a lot of them.

What I would do if I won 1 million $

Oh My God! It would be the first thing that I would say, also cry and call my family. Second I would invest the money in a big company, probably I would buy an share in apple or window's company, because if money is not invest then you lost everything. Then that I invest my money I would like travel, I would go to the beach, the most beautiful, well a different places with beach. I could have a house in the beach or my own island. Of course I would use my money for help people. I would give money to the poor people in my country, because we have a lot poverty, but in a different way, I would create companies and give work to people that need work and make their own money. Of course I could have a beautiful car and house and of course it would be green, so I help the earth. I would give money to organizations that care for the earth not governmental and I would be part of those. I would buy a lot of cosmetics and clothes lol.

What Would I do if I Won 1 million ???????????

IF I WON 1 MILLION I WOULD CREATE A FOUNDATION JUST LIKE SHAKIRA'S FUNDATION CALLED PIES DESCALZOS.



PIES DESCALZOS IS A FOUNDATION TO HELP THE NEEDED. The goal is to bring food and help the poor. Shakira was in Armenia(Quindio) where a big earthquake took thousands of lives and left many people without a place to live. She also helped when Huracans Mitch and George hit Central-America. She also created Schools and Hospitals for families with a low income.
Shakira said: "Pies descalzos is an association that was created at the end of 1997, there we do activities to collect money, this money goes to the foundations that help the poor unprotected children of my country, Places that help children with heart conditions, with aids, leuchimia, and the homeless children and, also children whose father had died in combat
Pies Descalzos has the goal to protect the homeless children. I Have not yet achieved all my dreams with this foundation, but at least we have placed the first rock. I had a concert in "El Campin" and all the money went to different places that help the children in Colombia. That is My dream: make someday my carreer go beyond and get people to work with me in this ship because we have to put our eyes in our children, besides my maternal instint is very strong.


CREATE A FOUNDATION LIKE THAT WOULD MAKE ME THE HAPPIEST GIRL ALIVE, I THINK THAT ALL THAT PEOPLE WHO CAN DO OR CREATE ONE SHOULD DO IT, BECAUSE THIS FOUNDATIONS ARE NEVER LIKE : OKAY WITH ONE IS OKAY OR ENOUGH, NO!! THERE IS MILLION OF PEOPLE SUFFERING AROUND THE WORLD AND ALL THE PEOPLE WHO CAN HELP, SHOULD DO IT!!! BECAUSE THE MORE FOUNDATION LIKE THIS ARE, THE LESS PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING!! and after helping people you feel just soooo good!!! and happy just as Raffaela and Abdul said in one of our class, There is no happiest feeling that help people that really need help around the world seriously.




AND IF AFTER THAT I STILL HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF MONEY, I WILL PAY FOR A TRIP FOR ALL MY FAMILY AND SEVEN FRIENDS TO GO TO EUROPE AND SOME GREAT PLACES AROUND THE WORLD :) SO THEY CAN SEE how WONDERFUL THE WORLD is :)

If I won 1 million dolar, at first I would create a bank acount with all the money.
Second I would invest in a company and I would try to start my own Company. Also I would buy some stocks of a Company. I would travel a lot, and with the money that I would have after my inversion I would buy cars, travel and help poor people.
I think that the ebst thing to do with a million dollar is invest or create myy own Company and the I have the money to spend in all the things that I want for the rest of my life.

If I won 1 million dollars,the first thing to do right away is to travel in my counrty to see my family and my friends.I really wish I could see them every single day of my life.In the present time,I wish I could do something great for my parents so that they could realize that I assimulated what they taught me.I would like to do the same for my friends.The second thing would be to finance my studies in the United States from my Bachelor level to the PHD.This is one the strongest dream of my life.If I had the chance to get such amount of money,I would attend some of the greatest universities in the United States such Harvard,UCLA.I would also seize the opportunity to save half of the money in order to lay the basis of my future projects.By the way,I have always dreamed of creating an association to help poor,innocent and abandoned children.So,that would have been an important finanacial package.
In short,I would be the happiest person if I could get such amount of money at the moment.It would be absolutely helpful.

Perfect life

In my view, the perfect life mean when you able to draw a smile on faces. To be more specific, drawing a smile on patients, kids and sad people mean a lot of things to me. Helping people make my sadness go away. Sometimes I hate myself but when I help or do favor for somebody I relived. People sometimes doesn't notice this, but this completely fine with me because when I do something I don't expect receive the same favor.

The perfect life.....

I am satisfy about my life as it is. I don't want more than that I've got. I praying to keep my parents for me.I think the perfect life is to live with people who you love. I am sure that the God give me what I should get. This is part of my religion is to believe that the God give every body the best. every body wants to live as a king but to be satisfy about what you have got is more important than looking to be in higher place that is not created for you. The Contentment is the word that every body should be aware about it.

My perfect live.............

When I think about my life, I really love my actual life I really like all that I do. But I think that everybody always want more in his life. I wish I can my degree this year. If I have my degree, then I could get a good job with the best salary. I wish I had jobs that permit work just for internet and just using my computer because I wish I traveled a lot. If I worked online I would work in the beach in the mountains but never in the office. If I was rich person I could help poor people but the principal thing that I wish I did built school for kids. I think that if they had the best education when they were child. They will be very intelligent and help their country to progress.

Perfect Live Alejandro

I think that my life would be perfect as is now I´d change things but would be minimal. And I would like to see my girlfriend but I have to wait only 8 days after 6 months of waiting. I think that also I would change some things I didn´t do in the past like have high grades but I think my life is more than perfect now.

Also if you could have super powers I think I would like to have all of them because if I have a lot why not have them all.

My perfect life would be not really different from my own. But some changes that I would like to do, for example; I would like to have is an special item to stop the time and fix things in the past. That would be really helpful.

Other thing I would like to change is to continue playing soccer in the inferiors of a professional team, and still studying in high school in a good school, and also in the university . In that way if I fail in the soccer I would have the proper education to be a profesionist and have a good life. Because actually when I had to enter to high school I stopped plying soccer because I would have a poor high school education, and if I fail, almost any university would accept me.

But I think that it is difficult, almost impossible to have a perfect life. So I have to enjoy my own.

What I would like to be.

If I were to ask for something to my creator before I was born,I would like to be an omnipotent healer.Imagine that I could cure every illness.This way, I would be going everywhere to save people whose lives are in danger.Even better, I wish I could have this power to bring every dead person to life. In other words, I wish I were invisible in order to be able to depict these people who commit bad actions.I would help the detective police in their investigation.I wish I were invisible in order to visit all the presidents in the world in their houses and visit every wonderful place without paying any penny.

Somewhere I've never been something I've never done...

The last weekend I went to New Orleans, whit my friends of Ecuador.

First we went to the hotel and later we went to Bourbon Street that is incredible, amazing

and crazy. This street has a lot of bars, club and places to dance. We hear a lot of different

music because everyone has one o two styles of music. We heard kinds of music as: rock, tropical, electronic, jazz, blues and other that I didn’t remember the mane. The best is that you can go to different bars and you don’t need pay for the entrance, just for the drinks. For this reason you can see a lot of people walk in the street because they can choose and see all the night.

I saw people of different parts around the word. And all spoke the same language this is an example: party, party, party ………… all the night.

Then in the morning fine in the afternoon we went to visit the historical houses and the colonial square. It’s incredible because it have houses with European style, principal Spain style.

If you can go to New Orleans…………just do it, you cannot believe this place.
