On Saturday I went to Graceland…



We left at 9:45 a.m. The trip was planned by the IEP. Graceland is in Memphis, just one and a half hours away from Oxford.
What we first did was go to Elvis Presley’s house. The house was really beautiful; I liked it a lot because every room had a unique style. My favorite was the TV room; it was decorated in blue and yellow and had mirrors on the ceiling!



We only saw the first floor of the house because the others floors were closed. The yard was pretty. We also visited Elvis´ tomb, which was in the yard.


Then we had lunch at Planet Hollywood; I had a legendary burger.

Finally, we walked Beale Street and bought some souvenirs. I didn’t like Beale Street because it was small, there were not many interesting things to see or buy and there were lots of people smoking and listening to music very loudly.
