Even though I do not follow soccer much, the one time I do follow the sport is during the World Cup. The reason I pay special attention to this event is because of what it symbolizes. Achieving world unity is tough to do but it is done almost effortlessly in the World Cup. Through their love of the game, we see soccer players represeting their countries so proudly raising unity within their own nationalities and with the rest of the world.
