THE MEAL AND THEN a YUMMY desert FROM PANAMA




Arroz con pollo (Panamanian Style)

Ingredients:

1 lb. of head rice, a tender chicken 3 or 4 lbs, 1 can of red peppers, 1 onion, 3 tbsp. butter or oil, a small jar of olives and capers, 4 tomatoes, 2 cloves of garlic, 1 can tomato paste 4 large red peppers, 1 cup of "petit pois" or peas, 4 cups water, salt to taste .

ITS EASY!!!!!
Procedure:

Clean chicken and cut into servings; saute in hot fat, add the chopped or ground spices, water to cover, the tomato sauce and allow to soften.

Remove chicken from the sauce, remove the bone and cut into pieces not too small, chop the peppers into thin strips.

Prepare rice in the same sauce they cooked the chicken, reduce heat and allow to soften, add all the ingredients: the peppers, chicken, petit pois. " Serve with a garnish with parsley, olives, etc.

PESADA DE NANCE

Ingredients:

2 lbs. white sugar, 2 lbs. flour, 2 cups evaporated milk girls, a 1 lb package.white cheese, 2 ½ nance bottles, 1 gallon of water.

HERE'S THE

Procedure:

The nance is left with the water

coming and you will add more

water to be placed in a pan.

When everything is brewing, pour the flour gradually, and stir.

Add sugar to taste.

Add evaporated milk and stir all

Put the entire mixture to the fire and let everything set.

Serve in individual portions and throw shredded cheese on top.
